The garage continues to take shape. The foundation walls are in, yesterday 145 tons of dirt were delivered, and moved to fill in this hole. Hopefully another 100 tons will arrive this week, free of charge, from a local construction project, and the exterior foundation walls can be backfilled.

We received another 2″ of rain last night so everything is muddy as can be. The guys are not laying block. So much for schedules.

The work on Pat’s 4-car garage began while we were traveling out west. He quickly put the boys to work on the garage when we returned home though. First DH supervised SK as he moved stone into the footer forms.
