We received the call from the Dr around 5:30 tonight. Michael did not crack his ribs. WHEW! He’s thrilled since this will mean he will be permitted to skate. On Sunday during practice the team was doing drills around cones, everyone was going slow, and Michael caught the tip of his boot-wheel on a cone. […]

The boys have practiced hard. Look at that focus, that intensity and determination. And he isn’t falling these day.
They love their sport and I believe it shows.

The funds will be used to send several moms’ to SO training in October, for the purchase of SO study materials, and hopefully building materials. Some weeks ago we went out and purchased Italian Ice — quite expensive—-and […]

Last week I posted about our vacation to the Adirondacks and mentioned that at some future time I would post about our trip up to Mt Marcy. Well, here it is—
I can’t remember the first time I used my First Aid Kit on a hike, but I imagine it was to cover a blister […]

I am so sore! SK pushed for us to go kayaking and canoing today, and since it looked so beautiful I agreed. I love being outside, and doing something active outside so I’m rather easy to convince to go on some outdoor adventure. We first checked out the Blackbird Creek but I felt […]
