Braces

Tomorrow we take the big trip to the Orthodontist and Mark begins the ‘braces’ journey.  He’ll be getting a couple spaces inserted and they’ll go over oral hygiene skills with him.     We’ve known for a long time that this day would come and now it has.

Well, good luck to Mark! This is on our agenda soon, too, just as soon as I can figure out how to pay for it. ;-)

Love the cartoon! Our ‘braces’ adventures will be coming to an end in a couple of months. Expensive, but well worth it!

P.S. We had a carpet the same color as your new one. It’s almost the same color as chocolate milk! Kind of a reddish beige as opposed to a greenish beige.

There are some tricks you can do to make it look less red: the yellow paint color on stairs has a lot of red in it … you could repaint it (big job, I know) a more neutral color. The bedroom paint color is more taupe – does the carpet look as purple in there?

Also, a less expensive fix would be to play with your lighting – incandescent gives off a yellow light, while flourescents give off more of a blue.

    HTH : )

That cartoon really made me laugh! Hope Mark is getting use to the braces and everyone is doing well.
