Mt. Pleasant Classical Academy

ScienceKid attended another YESS session last evening. They posted all the speakers notes on the web under the 2007 button so you can see what they are covering. Last evening for the design-project task the kids were given a dry solids mixture and worked in groups of 5 to separate out the dark blue powder. To assist them they had a coffee filter, sieves, balloon, magnet, and a few other objects. Next week we will find out which group won the project task. SK is enjoying the evening and the weekly engineering project. Neither of us are enjoying the students rude behavior and their constant chatter during the speakers talks.
