Read the Directions

For my birthday my family gave me an IPod. It was what I wanted and quickly I started loading all our music onto my pc and transferring it over to my IPod.

That was not as easy as it sounds, but I got through it. Science Kid tried with all his might to do it for me but I resisted his attempts at helping. Unfortunately he helped just enough that my IPod is called by his name. UGH. Males.

Soon though I had run out of space on my hard drive and DH came to the rescue and purchased me a huge hard drive. After thanking him but before I realized what he was doing he transferred all my music and photos onto the new hard drive. He then went into ITunes and changed the location of the music.

ITunes couldn’t find the new music. DH confirmed it was there, double-checked things, and decided to try again but to a new folder. It still didn’t find the new location, so he tried a third time.

About this time I stepped in and asked if he had read ITunes directions on how to change the music library’s location? No, he hadn’t read the directions.

Males. Sometimes it is really important to read directions. So I’m deleting files, and trying again but this time I’m following directions.

I need to read directions. I am going to buy a creative zen (my library’s free audibooks can’t be used on iPods) and I am completely clueless on iTunes. It really scares me to make a jump into technology! I’m just worried about books, have not thought about music.
