Perhaps the most valuable result of all education is the ability to make yourself do the thing you have to do, when it ought to be done, whether you like it or not….. Thomas Henry Huxley

Accidentally I deleted all my internet software off my pc on Monday. What a way to start off the month! DH came to my rescue and while I was up with my Dad today he recovered lots of the stuff.. Dad slept all but maybe 30 min of the 10hrs I was with him, drank a little, but didn’t eat. It was a peaceful day with him, chatting about stuff while he slept…. I was fine all day, fine when I said goodbye knowing that it might be the last time, and fine the entire 4hr drive home.

I came into the kitchen and saw my pc open with music softly playing.I started checking emails, and then the song’s lyrics hit me. It is playing I’ll fly away continuously, … I don’t have the heart to stop it:

Some glad morning when this life is o’er,
I’ll fly away;
To a home on God’s celestial shore,
I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away).

[Chorus]
I’ll fly away, Oh Glory
I’ll fly away; (in the morning)
When I die, Hallelujah, by and by,
I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away).

When the shadows of this life have gone,
I’ll fly away;
Like a bird from prison bars has flown,
I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away)

[Chorus]
I’ll fly away, Oh Glory
I’ll fly away; (in the morning)
When I die, Hallelujah, by and by,
I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away).

Just a few more weary days and then,
I’ll fly away;
To a land where joy shall never end,
I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away)

[Chorus]
I’ll fly away, Oh Glory
I’ll fly away; (in the morning)
When I die, Hallelujah, by and by,
I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away).

Update: After writing this I went to bed and asked DH if he realized what song he had put on continuous play on my PC. He stated, ‘one from O’Brother, cause I know how you like that CD’ It was just a random pick for him but something the Lord wants me to hear.
