I take it you are "ticked off" at the vet? *grin*

It stinks to find out that they were just running you through the paces rather than actually providing care.

Peanut butter also works wonderfully to hide pills for dogs. They love it. So sorry to hear that he's ill. Good luck.

I'd be upset.

Glad you were able to take a walk today. Sending continuing speedy recovery vibes for you.

We have had two vets from different offices tell us that Purina dog food is just as good as the expensive brands. So we use dog chow.

What a run -- lyme disease, metal chips and surgery all close together.

It's time for things to get better now. Waving my magic wand.

Honestly I don't think you are overreacting. It is just like going to a doctor who prescribes medicine to mask the symptoms and doesn't take the time to find out what is really wrong. It sounds like Brutus is going to be fine and that is good. Glad to hear you knee is feeling better.

(we have a vet who will sell just one month of frontline at a time...instead of shelling out $90 we only have to shell out $30 AND our vet told us that it is good for 3 months on tics! it saves us money!)
