Our Not-Back-to-PS celebration
Since we started school several weeks ago I told the boys that this morning we would have a special breakfast as a not-back-to-PS celebration. I didn’t / couldn’t call it a First Day of School celebration since it isn’t our first day.
MK and I went out for milk and Dunkin Donuts, one dozen. He picked out certain doughnuts for himself, some for SK and some for me.
The boys were eating when suddenly I heard MK exclaim, “that one only weighs 3.5 ounces!”
Seems the boys, before eating their donuts, or trading which donuts are theirs, got out the gram scale, and are weighing each one before eating or trading!
So, HS’ers can’t even just forget school during a not-back-to-school celebration.
