Surprise! Surprise!
I was fixing dinner and dh asked:
“What’s on the calendar the first week of (a month far in the future)?”
“Nothing, Why?” I replied
“Yes, there is.”
“What?”
“We’re going to St John’s. If that’s OK with you?”
Seems at work they were chatting about cool vacation spots and one guy mentioned St John’s—a place I’ve been to once, but for a very short visit, and have always stated as THE spot I wanted to return to in the Virgin Islands. I can’t believe we are going to go—DH has enough free air miles for all of us—so now we are waiting for the reservation confirmation to come back.
So it is back on Atkins and low-carb time! Have to take off those 30# that have slipped back on these past 6 months, that I took off and kept off during the previous 18months. Gotta be able to fit back into my swim suit.
I am SO thrilled. I can’t believe it. St John.
